CREATING AND CUTTING WOODEN JIGSAW PUZZLES

Our wooden jigsaw puzzles are hand cut with care and passion. The artistic cutting style of Caesar’s puzzles is unique. The attention is focused on the beauty of lines and harmony of the pieces.
Naturally, each piece of the puzzle is different from the next one. The spikes and the swirls, the straight lines and the spirals, are cut in a way that they compensate each other and create an intricate, yet balanced, design.
OUR MATERIALS
We like to work with several types of wood, both plywood and solid wood. The various scroll-saws that we use, allow us to play with different thicknesses and sizes. We particularly enjoy working with wooden veneers and using pieces that are entirely made out of wood.

UNUSUAL PUZZLES
In the past we have created many jigsaw puzzles by cutting regular objects such as chairs, guitars, tennis rackets, combs, cutting boards and much more! With a couple of tricks used by the cutter, these unusual wooden jigsaw puzzles turned out to be quite hard to piece back together.
PUZZLE EVENTS
All the wooden jigsaw puzzles of our collection are on display once a year during the Puzzleday. The Puzzleday is a yearly event organized by Cartotecnica Rocchi on the subject of jigsaw puzzles. During the Puzzleday, each registered participant can play with our wooden jigsaw puzzles, take part in the jigsaw puzzle speed competition and test out his/her skills with a scroll-saw.
